Revlon Boss Files Lawsuit Against Actress Ex-Wife

In the latest Hollywood lawsuit to hit the headlines the boss of Revlon Cosmetics has filed a lawsuit against his former actress wife accusing her of taking his money and of misappropriating assets. However, his famous ex-wife has branded the lawsuit by her former husband an abuse of the legal system.
The lawsuit was recently filed by the boss of Revlon Cosmetics Ron Perelman, who was married to Hollywood actress Ellen Barking, now aged fifty four. The make up mogul and the actress got divorced last year in 2006.
According to Perelman’s lawsuit his former wife set up a production company called Applehead II to compete with a production company that he set up with Barkin and her brother, George, called Applehead I. Perelman, who has filed the lawsuit against both Barkin and her brother states that she took his money to file a lawsuit against him and to pay her brother a salary of a quarter of a million a year.
Barkin has branded the lawsuit “a cynical abuse of the legal system.” She also stated that it was ‘frivolous’ and ‘without merit’. Perelman is seeking unspecified damaged as part of the lawsuit, as well as seeking the return of misappropriated assets.
