Rapper Being Sued For A Cool Million

Rapper Lil’ Wayne is being sued for one million dollars by a teenager that was injured in a ruckus that resulted from the rapper or a member of his crew throwing wads of money into the crowd at a gig. The gig took place last October at the Maryland Morgan State University. The complaint was filed earlier this week in Baltimore City Circuit Court.
The seventeen year old claims that she was crushed in the crowd after cash was thrown into the audience, and states that she lost consciousness and sustained a serious head injury that now means she needs long term medical care. She claims that she now suffers concentration and memory problems, and that she suffers from regular headaches.
The stunt, where $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills were thrown into the crowd was referred to as ‘making it rain’. The audience scrambled to get to the money and, as a result, the claimant and two other women were injured and had to be taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries. A third woman refused treatment, although she was also affected by the stampede.
