MLB Star Claims Lawsuit is Lying

Roberto Alomar, the former M LB star, has recently been hit with a fifteen million dollar lawsuit. The lawsuit claims that he had sexual intercourse without protection with an ex-girlfriend whilst he was infected with AIDS. However, he has now stated that the lawsuit is filled with lies.
Alomar recently stated that he was in very good health, and speaking of the lawsuit he stated: “It is filled with lies, and I am deeply saddened that someone I care for would make such terrible accusations and try to hurt me in this way.”
He also said that the situation is “a very private, personal matter. I am in very good health and I ask that you respect my privacy during this time.” His new girlfriend also called the lawsuit ‘a vile lie’. She said: “It’s not true. It’s a very delicate case. He feels comfortable because when you’re telling the truth, you don’t have anything to hide.”
Speaking about his former girlfriend she said that she “is trying to destroy him. That won’t happen. … We’re not surprised by the allegations.” The lawsuit claims that the sporting star took an HIV test in 2006 and that it came back positive
