Florida Woman Accused Of DUI Manslaughter In A Motorcycle Accident

A Florida woman is charged with DUI-manslaughter and is currently in jail after state police arrested her for drunk driving and crashing into a pair of bike-riders on August 1, 2016.
The accident happened around 8:43 p.m. on Aug. 1 when Ms. Bailey her Toyota RAV4 rear-ended Ronalyn Sylvia and Roger Weldon. The woman continued to drive for at least a mile after hitting the bikers before pulling over. Unfortunately, Ronalyn Sylvia,43, didn’t survive her injuries. Roger Weldon, 56, the crash and is recovering at the Ryder Trauma Center in Miami, Florida. Both bike riders not wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
The woman is identified as Mary Elizabeth Bailey, 25, who surrendered herself to the authorities when she was shown an arrest warrant charging her of DUI-manslaughter. Her bail has been set at $310, 000 by the court.
